Terms of sale and use

These terms apply to the use of Morfile (the website and the app) and to the purchase of Morfile Pro licences. By using Morfile or buying a licence, you accept them.

1. The service

Morfile converts and compresses files directly in your browser, on your device. Your files are never uploaded to our servers. The app can be installed and then works without a connection.

• Free: JPG, PNG and WebP between each other, one file at a time, 10 MB maximum, no sign-up.
• Morfile Pro: every format, batches of files and large files. Offline use is included with lifetime access; the 24-hour pass checks the licence online every hour.

2. The seller: Paddle

Morfile Pro licences are sold by Paddle.com Market Limited, authorised reseller (Merchant of Record). Paddle collects the payment, issues the invoice, and calculates and remits the VAT that applies in your country. The purchase is also governed by Paddle’s buyer terms; regarding payment, they prevail over these terms.

3. Plans and prices

Each plan is a one-time payment, with no automatic renewal. Prices are shown in euros, including taxes; the exact amount, with your country’s taxes, is shown by Paddle before payment.

4. Delivery and activation

After payment, your licence key is sent to you by email and the device used for the purchase is activated automatically. On another device, enter the key in the app’s “Licence” screen: an Internet connection is needed only once per device, then everything works offline.

5. Licence to use

The licence is personal. It lets you use Morfile Pro on the number of devices shown above; you can free up a device from the “Recover my licence” page. Reselling, publishing or sharing a key is prohibited. “Lifetime” means for as long as Morfile is operated. Should the service ever stop, the app already installed and activated would keep working offline on your devices.

6. Right of withdrawal

Morfile Pro is digital content supplied immediately after payment. Under Article L221-28, 13° of the French Consumer Code, by requesting immediate access when purchasing, you acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal. This does not take away our guarantee: you can get a refund within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked (see the refund policy).

7. Liability

• Your files remain yours. Morfile never modifies the originals: it creates new files.
• Keep a copy of your originals. The result depends on the source file, your browser and your device (for example the memory available on iPhone for very large files).
• We do our best to keep the website available, without being able to guarantee it. The installed app works without the website.

9. Complaints, mediation and governing law

For any complaint, write to support [at] morfile [dot] com. If the disagreement persists, you can refer it free of charge to the consumer mediator. These terms are governed by French law.
